My friend and squash buddy from Vancouver Tim Holley, now suffering in his new post on Oahu, invited Cynthia and me to join him for a day of sailing to one of his favourite anchorages at Pokai Bay on his Catalina 39. We had a great run down to the anchorage in 20 knots and had an exciting run back with winds up to 34.5 knots of wind in the dark! Tim treated us to a spectacular day and is a superb captain.
