Arthur, eldest son of Tim and Barbara Attwell, and Michelle Matthews got married at the Rosebank Methodist Church, Cape Town, on Saturday, 8 November 2008. Tim did the honours as the minister. It was a happy, relaxed occasion, with family and friends. The reception was in the garden of the manse behind the church. Tim, as you know, is the minister at Rosebank. The wedding is the latest in a line of Attwell family weddings at Rosebank, including Anne and Pat Hill, Paddy and Melanie Attwell and Honore and Mzo Gaza, and others going back possibly 100 years or so. The pictures show Michelle and Arthur, and cousins, Emma Attwell (daughter of Tim and Barbara), Honore (daughter of Anne and Pat) and Rob (son of Paddy and Melanie).
